GOODIE BAGS COLLECTION!
had the monthly department lunch today
& we walked all the way to lau pa sat for it!

was supposed to join Rebecca, Pei Chin, Adeline (bai xiao jie!!!) for dinner today,
but i had to collect the goodie bags for this sunday's milkrun
so i couldn't join! =(
but i still went to marina square with them
queued a while with them, catching up with bai xiao jie before leaving
took the train to eunos to meet Fabian & Seok Chuan
& we met Angela at tampines
took a cab down to the soka association HQ,
where we collected our goodie bags!
i had to collect for 7 friends! including myself
& Angela had to collect for 17 friends! my god.
we still managed & went to the nearby hawker center for dinner!
all of us shared a cab home

was supposed to go for milkstomp practice this morning - i didn't go.
was planning to go cycling - i didn't go.

CABLE-CAR!
went out for dinner with Rebecca, Qiuyi, Pei Chin after work!
Pei Chin's cousin joined us too
we ate at pepper lunch @ shaw house
i then went to meet Fabian & his group of friends at cable car (a pub near cuppage)
Rebecca & Qiuyi accompanied me there! =)
i joined in their game of darts! wahaha.
& can you believe it, i've got TWO bull's eye! WOOHOO.
even helped my team won one of the games too, heex.
also played one round of pool after that
these reminded me of singtel recreation club,
where i could play darts + pool regularly
oh man, i miss that place!

took a cab home, reached home near 2am!
i hate the smell of cigarette smoke,
BUT, i kidda like it when it's mixed with air-con

cos, Yih Hong was coming back from australia TODAY!

so i went all the way to the airport to "fetch" him
(but i was so late, that he ended up waiting for me, haha)
his friend, George, was there to welcome him back too
we took a cab back to PGP @ NUS

at sakae sushi @ vivocity
her husband picked us up from the office & drove us there, heex.

going out with a married couple
(& this is my don't-know-how-many-time-eating-sushi, haha!)
after dinner (which was rather rushed),
we watched the R21 lesbian movie - 刺青 (spider lilies)
starring 杨丞林 (rainie yang) and 梁洛施 (isabella leong)
it's quite a slow show,
simple plot but with many flashbacks
they sent me all the way home
so nice of them! =)

but due to unforseen circumstances,
Angela couldn't make it today,

& that Cheng Hao thought he was going to WATCH a performance
so when he realised we were going to PERFORM,
he backed out, haha.
& we girls took the train + bus to the soka association at boon lay for practice

this is the 主打 of this album! a really cool track (gonna be DAMN hard to learn!), cos it has so many 绕口令 (tongue twisters) in the lyrics! goodness. but it's so FUN! it really portrays what this album is all about - play play play! try rapping tongue twisters along with the melody? very catchy, addictive track! ktv-unfriendly though (you'll juz make a fool out of yourself, hoho.)

slowing the tempo down, we have this unique track. still remember the famous old song, 五月天 - 温柔? this time they got their 师弟 - 飞轮海 to sing with them! & yes, they sang the chorus, which was from that mayday song. when i first heard this song, i found the combination rather awkward, but after listening a few times, i'm beginning to like it! especially the starting, when the girls went doo-doo-doo, nice harmony! a very easy-to-sing track, & definitely ktv-friendly since all guys & girls can join in!

aha! another rappy song! i like this even more, heex. the lyrics says how tough it is to be in the music industry, but how satisfying it is still. very meaningful. to be passionate about what you love, never giving up, no matter how tough it is. the melody started with the guitar (nice!), & while Ella is rapping, Hebe & Selina would be harmonizing - la la la la la - love it. there's this line that says, "你看我们S.H.E 努力 学习写歌多久 如今才能听到我们的创作" - it's true! this album (you'll see later) finally has their works. it's really not easy, & i really think they're SO successful, in music, tv dramas, variety shows, & they're still so humble, sincere, diligent, FUN!

this song juz reminds me of my taiwan trip, cos i hear it everywhere! this is their 第二波主打, a sweet sweet love song! it has nothing to do with the mayday band ironically, except for the MV, they got 五月天 阿信 to co-star with Selina (that kiss!). it's one of my favourite songs, it juz makes me smile. =) sugary-sweet lyrics together with heart-warming melody - it wins me over (-melted-). the lyrics 很有画面感, the sea, the clear blue sky, PRETTY! S.H.E did a great job in the harmonizing as well, perfect.

wow wow wow. what a song! a track that mixes many of Jay Chou's tracks together, mostly using his titles to string the lyrics together & some melodies. even the title of this song, is the same as one of Jay's songs (Hebe was the female lead of that MV). the titles used:: 伊斯坦堡，最后的战役，上海 一九四三，对不起，简单爱，开不了口，安静，斗牛，龙卷风，千里之外，东风破，听妈妈的话，借口 ，分裂，同一种调调，轨迹，飘移，困兽之斗，乱舞春秋，反方向的钟，暗号，回到过去，发如雪，完美主义，印第安老斑鸠，双刀，断了的弦，黑色幽默，外婆，爱情悬崖，将军，园游会，夜曲, woohoo, what a long list. amazing right? as for melodies, i've noticed 听妈妈的话 and 止战之伤. it's again, a rappy song, with a catchy chorus. cool! 很妙！

my least favourite track in this album. took the longest to like it, but it's quite ok to me now. i guess it's adapted from an english song (looking at the composers)? they juz keep going boom boom boom boom boom - kidda boring? Hebe sang really well at the bridge though. the song may not be AS nice as the other tracks, but look at the MV!!! what's your impression of S.H.E's MVs? mostly colourful, lively, sweet, CUTE & usually with a storyline right? this time, it's a dance MV, juz black & white. their moves & the gaze in their eyes - woohoo. HOT.

another of my favourite tracks! it's quite a 冷门 track - you won't hear it unless you have the album! but i fell in love with the melody the first time i heard it. not exactly a sentimental song, but it's not a rappy hip-hop song as well. juz easy-listening. especially the chorus, it's SUPER nice. the lyrics is very historical & poetic, i could hardly understand what is it saying. but the melody makes up for it!

top favourite!!! why? it's such a sad, sappy love song, haha. Hebe wrote the lyrics, wow! i think it's pretty good. can feel the pain in the lyrics, sobx. super ktv-friendly song, they better have it soon! towards the end of the song, at the climax, i like the 合声 by Ella - let it go, let it go~. a simple, yet moving song. i hope yes933 will 打 this song soon!

ahHhHh~ what a friendship song. at first when i saw the title, i thought it's a song about marriage, that the husband loves his wife & stuff like that. but no! it's a song about sisterhood, especially true for S.H.E. friends? best friends? sisters? soulmates? these terms are not enough to describe their relationships with one another anymore. they have reached a 境界, so close to one another, that they have "married" one another, & thus 老婆! so sweet la! =) i think they have come so far, not only being so successful, they have found their wives for life. this song is written by Ella & Selina, all the more 贴切 to them. very touching, very moving. can feel their bond.

went out for dinner with Rebecca, Pei Chin, Qiuyi at long john silver's @ vivocity after work!
we then stood at the outdoor balcony area at vivocity to view the star virgo cruise vessels + the night sky
fooled around too, muahaha.

we walked one round into the cafe,
but were brought to the same outdoor area to our table

& it's MAHJONG session ONCE again!

this time we went to Qiuyi's house (at jurong west) to play!

but he's such a jinx, damn. =xX
we played through the night (as usual),
then went for breakfast at the 24hr mac nearby!
being the biggest loser, it's my treat
boohoo. i've only won 3 rounds THROUGHOUT the night
can you imagine, haha.
