completed where i had left off yesterday whew, so tedious was feelin' so sleepy coffee doesn't work for me anymore
went kyo nichi for lunch with Yongmin, Huixian (his girlfriend) & their friend, Ling Hui RAMEN!!! hoho
my fellow colleague, Wei Leng taught me the first basic steps of data processin'! finally! after days of "copyin' & pastin'" work i may juz get serious stuff to do soon! heex was so impressed by the power processor - one BIG macro script that my managers had written out of excel wow, i didn't know excel has so much potential it made our job so much easier & faster
everyone juz "loves" stayin' in the office till real late (i guess they most probably have no choice) it makes people who leave at 6pm sharp look guilty but it's so no life & unhealthy to be in that air-con room for the entire day! my skin needs to breathe it gets so dry & flaky under air-con yikes. & i feel i've aged. stonin' in front of the computer the whole day only my fingers movin' quite a bit, gosh. wearin' shoes that are nowhere near the comfort level of my track shoes not to mention clothes, duh. bag also! i miss a backpack on my back, ha! & i'm afraid i'll get fat soon activity level is so low & i'm eatin' so much! oh well, this is juz the start don't really mind the job, the environment, the people though everythin' fits well juz gotta take some time to adapt (hey, i've never SAT in an office before ok!) kidda like the idea of havin' my own desk, heehee still have yet to personalise it - any suggestions? hmmx.
so far, most responses have been - not to spike my hair i shouldn't, really?

Very cool design! Useful information. Go on! »»»
it's juz another day of work so monotonous! -.-zZz i should have expected this juz waitin' to learn more things!
nothin' much to do until after lunch had to change some internal variables to external (never mind, you also won't know what i'm talkin' about, haha) anyway, there was so much to do that i had to stay till 8pm (& still couldn't finish) went for dinner at kfc @ westmall with my colleague, Anvia (unique name huh?) hoho, we're gonna claim this dinner from the company! we can claim up to $10 for dinner if you work till 8pm heex
my hair - to spike or not to spike? please advise.
2 driftsSs.. Anonymous::
NOPE! Dun spike...unless u wanna look like a guy!
another new week! -.-zZz i really need to sleep more if not i'll keep wantin' to fall asleep at work! shit.
had a meetin' at 10am understood a little more things already, heex then i had my first trainin' by Felicia (senior manager) from 2pm-5pm quite a bit of stuff to digest! had to do a practice on data types
finally, a picture of my workin' desk!
still so empty & neat! haha
so unfair! Yong Min was given a desk beside the window! & his computer is flat-screen! not fair!
the happy boy with his window-seat desk
& what a nice view he gets to see! the singapore river!
went to meet Vivi & Zhi Wei after work at bugis junction we shopped around for a while before settlin' at bugis cafe for dinner the food was not bad & it's really cheap! Wee Perng then joined us for a movie - the da vinci code was kidda lookin' forward to this movie however, it turned out to be so freakin' long (2.5hrs!) & draggy that i didn't really enjoy watchin' it the book is still so much better!
some overdued photos from the night at hark music cafe:: (thanks to Seok Chuan for the photos!)
Wei Wei's performance at hark music cafe - 26 may'06
WATCH THIS! cool huh, hoho she missed some words cos she couldn't find them! haha fantastic still! woohoo! =P
worked at spageddies again if possible, i really don't mind workin' there every weekend!
the lunch shift was quite ok but most of us were tired after yesterday haha
it's the great singapore sale & everywhere is flooded with crazy shoppers whew it's so hard to weave through town! i should go shoppin' again soon too! but i need to save up! sighx.
i'm proud to announce - i've finished the da vinci code novel this mornin'! heex!
what a day. i'm totally shagged freakin' tired!!!
it felt good to be back at spageddies workin' the problem with an office job is, you hardly run around much you'll juz sit there at the desk, stonin' & you hardly smile too (hello, who smiles to the computer when there is no msn?) you hardly talk to anyone too cos everyone is juz so busy doin' their own stuff sighx! however, at spageddies (or any F&B jobs for that matter), every order i take, i smile every bill i send, i smile every customer i lead in, i smile every plate i clear from a guest, i smile i don't know if it's a 'plastic' smile or a genuine one but at least i'm smilin'! =) run around most of the time too & i'm really a chatterbox at work, wahaha
we were slammed really badly at spageddies today there was even a queue durin' lunch! really, really siong i don't know how else to describe it needless to say, dinner was worse the LONG, never-endin' queue was there ever since we started our dinner shift till over 10pm! omg. i made a really hilarious blunder! a customer ordered HOT CHOCOLATE from me but i heard it as PORK CHOP (that's like a totally different thing la!) i don't know if it's my ears or his voice projection problem i could hardly hear him! & he didn't correct me when i repeated the orders too, argh. but had a good time laughin', haha
sales was so good & we worked so hard that everyone who worked double shifts get an extra hour's pay (those who worked only one shift had an extra half an hour's pay) woohoo! good job everyone! we made it through!
Friday, May 26, 2006 TGIF! I LOVE HARK MUSIC CAFE!
thank god it's.. FRIDAY!!! woohoo, have been anticipatin' the weekend, YEAH!
didn't know we are allowed to wear JEANS to work on fridays! damn, wasted. it's ok, i will remember for sure from now on! how i miss my jeans =(
work was quite alright today continued what i'd left off yesterday (those yucky data labels stuff) then went for lunch at soup spoon with Yong Min hoho was given MORE work to do when i returned to the office! did some updates on a variables set then lots of checkin' of the formats of SPSS outputs i like it when i'm given things to do (hopefully they are things i KNOW how to do) besides keepin' myself occupied (so i won't fall asleep & time will pass faster) i like to feel useful my colleagues in my department were all so BUSY yet i couldn't help much =/
left shortly after 6pm cos i didn't wanna be late for my blood donation AGAIN! this time, I REALLY HAD TO DONATE. Wei Wei joined me too, heex we reached the bloodbank @ HSA at 730pm (whew, it closes at 8pm on fridays) while the doctor was takin' my blood pressure i kept tellin' him, my pressure might be a little low, but i'm really FINE! it turned out that my systolic blood pressure was well above 100mmHg! wahaha, i had been too paranoid! (well, you can't blame me, i was gettin' desperate) he looked kidda amused why was i so worried about my blood pressure haha & i passed the iron level test too! woohoo, this was really SMOOTH! Wei Wei muz be my lucky charm, wahaha =P
but we waited freakin' long before we could go into the donation room cos there were SO MANY people! goodness. when we came out of HSA it was already 930pm! *gasp* but i'm still very glad & relieved that my 17th blood donation has finally taken place YAHOO!
we then went down to singtel recreation club to look for Angela a place full of memories! haha nice to meet Renu & those tombola uncles & aunties again especially mr. one jug! hoho
had supper (late dinner?) at suki sushi with Wei Wei & Angela my second time eatin' sushi this week Seok Chuan then joined us after work too! hoho
the four of us then went to this really COOL place - hark music cafe! (thanks to Angela for introducin') it's a 民歌餐厅 with really cosy interior & lightings that create a great ambience the moment i stepped in, i know I'M GONNA LOVE THIS PLACE! it's THE kind of place that i will enjoy chillin' in it makes more sense to go to music cafes like this than toleratin' LOUD BLASTIN' noise at clubs right? they have alcohol there too the music is superb there (though tonight was kidda like a audience-night - anyone can go up & sing!) accompanied by guitar & piano, wootx. one complaint though - it's too cold!
& guess what? Wei Wei went up to the stage to sing!!! WOOHOO! 偶像! she sang a duet - 珊瑚海, with the guitarist (who also happens to be the young boss of this cafe! wow.)! i'll put the recorded video up soon! heex i muz say it's WONDERFUL! even the boss also said she's someone who REALLY can sing! (ha, now then you know!) their 默契 was excellent too the pianist even thought the boss knows Wei Wei personally! wahaha
i muz visit this place again real soon! reached home at 3am, woah.

sushi nice mehhx? haha.. is it cos it smells nice?!? omgg..i hate the smell! lolx.
4th day at work! was so borin' la nothin' much to do except after lunchtime, i had some data labels to do which i don't really know how to!!! sighx.
results out today! WEE! i really passed all my modules, heex everythin' was within my expectations remember the rankin' i did for my papers? the results turned out EXACTLY the way i've predicted! ha! graduated! graduated! come to my commencement ceremony on 8 july, 3pm! hoho
met up with Casie, Joycelyn, James, Gavin at swensons @ crown prince hotel after work! woohoo it was part of celebratin' Casie's birthday we sat there for a long time the feelin' was good, to juz relax & chat with friends =)
third day of work! reached the office rather early to complete what i'd left off yesterday checkin' checkin'.. met up with Lily for lunch! wahaha, she treated me to sakae sushi! =)
nothin' much to do after lunch except studyin' the codes again went to chit-chat with the temp staff & kaypo what they were doin' hoho then i had lots of stuff to check again! my eyes were so tired from lookin' at the screen for so long la -.-
sighx. it's SO FREAKIN' HARD to get my 17th blood donation done 1st attempt: (last wed) was rejected at HSA cos my blood pressure was TOO low 2nd attempt: (last sat) wanted to go to NUH blood donation centre, but since it was saturday, it was closed at 1230pm. i was an hour late. 3rd attempt: (last sun) wanted to go to the mobile blood drive behind park mall, which ended at 3pm. but i was only at orchard station at 3pm. late again. 4th attempt: (TODAY) wanted to go to NUH blood donation centre after work today, cos i know on wednesdays, their openin' hours extend till 730pm. but i reached NUH exactly at 730pm & was at the other end of NUH. AHHHHHHHHHH. i juz wanna donate blood why is it so difficult?!? =(

it's my second day of work & i had NOTHIN' to do the whole mornin' before lunchtime! except for readin' those reports so borin' la -.-zZz finally it was lunchtime & Yongmin brought me to golden shoe for nasi lemak! went back to the office to find a stack of data tables for me to check finally somethin' to do! then, i was given some logic codes to study too (suddenly i had SO MUCH to do now) Yongmin & i had a company orientation at 4pm by Ruri we both thought it was gonna be somethin' like walkin' around the office haha, it was juz sittin' down in a conference room listenin' after it, i went to my desk to find ANOTHER stack of papers x_X! it was almost time to knock-off you know, hoho anyway, i started on it this one was so darn hard to check, argh. pia-ed till over 7pm still couldn't finish =/ shall continue tomorrow!
rushed to PS to meet Vivi & Zhi Wei & omg, we really SHOPPED! i bought a pair of footwear, a black top, a white jacket, a yellow half-sweater OMG. we then went pasta mania for dinner baked rice! yumx. Wee Perng then joined us there wanted waffles at gelare but we were runnin' short of time catchin' over the hedge! it was so hilarious la MUAHAHA. so cute.
first day of work! first day of work! no more school, ever but WORK! this is the first time i'm holdin' a proper full-time job where? J.D. Power @ six battery road, raffles place (oh yes, one of the skyscrapers! the office is on the 20th storey! nice view.) as what? research associate at the data processin' department when? startin' from today, monday to friday, 9am-6pm! but of cos, there may be certain days when i'll have to work over 6pm & yada yada..
although it's a totally-new environment i have an old friend with me - Yongmin! but he's in the desktop production department met up with him for a take-away jollybean breakfast then reported to work together!
here's a brief summary of my first day at work:: 9am - 10am: was brought to my desk (!!!), wahaha, my own desk! then was asked to read some papers 10am - 11am: department meetin'! was introduced to my fellow colleagues, then they went on to talk about schedules, which i had no clue about, haha 11am - 130pm: had to check through a THICK stack of data tables 130pm - 230pm: went to look for my sister! haha, now we're workin' so close to each other (p/s: she's workin' at soup spoon @ raffles exchange!). she even treated me to a free lunch there, hoho 230pm - 6pm: for the rest of the afternoon, i had to do 'data tables preparation'. managed to finish what i was given to do today! YEAH! =)
knocked off with Yongmin at 6pm sharp we were given free stationeries, laptop bag & a company tumbler! =P (saw lots of milo 3-in-1 sachets in the pantry! wahaha!) had dinner together at kfc @ PS
this first day was not too bad except for the mornin' rush & evenin' jam YAWNX. really hate squeezin' & squashin' with alikes =xX
i admit i'm slow but it's better late than never right? heex juz managed to borrow the da vinci code novel from the library yesterday & have been devourin' it ever since it's really fascinatin' i hope to finish it before i catch the movie!

Wonderful and informative web site. I used information from that site its great. »»
thought today would be my last day at spageddies which is equivalent to my last day in the F&B line (since i'll be havin' a proper full-time job from tomorrow onwards) but apparently i'm not leavin' this line so soon at least for now, i'll still be workin' at least one shift next week anyway, i've enjoyed waitressin' ever since i joined this line about 4 years ago so satisfyin' & fun some people may think that waitressin' sucks cos you have to carry heavy & hot plates, havin' a smile pasted on your face every second tahan unreasonable & demandin' customers it's how you look at it i guess you can think of yourself as a slave to those people or you can think of yourself as someone who is there to PROVIDE SERVICE willingly i believe in the latter & therefore i derive great satisfaction & pleasure servin'! heex i love my part-time jobs & i hope i'll love my full-time job too
i really need to shop for MORE clothes seriously.

damn sad la was rejected for donatin' blood cos MY BLOOD PRESSURE WAS TOO LOW! my systolic blood pressure (the first no.) is only 94mmHg when the accepted is 100mmHg
taken from medicinenet:: Is low blood pressure bad for your health? People who have lower blood pressures have a lower risk of strokes, kidney disease, and heart diseases. Athletes, people who exercise regularly, people who maintain ideal body weights, and non-smokers, tend to have lower blood pressures. Therefore, low blood pressure is desirable as long as it is not low enough to cause symptoms and damage to organs in the body.
As a DIRECTOR, you combine an unusual openness and passion for beauty and style with confidence and a down-to-earth sensibility that allow you to realize your vision. You are practical and pay attention to the details that others tend to miss. By focusing on what is real and concrete, you achieve more than those who always have their heads in the clouds. When it comes to what really matters in your life, you are confident in your ability to succeed. Having beautiful things in your life gives you pleasure and satisfaction - you have a keen eye for style. Even when problems present themselves, deep down you know you will overcome these challenges. When routines get too familiar, you become bored and start looking for ways to spice things up. You are open to new types of experiences – you are not afraid to take a risk on something new. You have a highly developed sense of taste – you know what looks good on you, in your home, and in the world at large. You tend to do things on the spur of the moment, not sticking to a set schedule. You have a strong sense of style and value your personal presentation - friends may even seek your style advice from time to time. Generally, you believe that you control your life, and that external forces only play a limited role in determining what happens to you.
If you want to be different: Occasionally let yourself dream a little more, even if it doesn't seem practical or efficient.
how you relate to others You are Faithful
Your trust in others, respect for tradition, and caring nature make you FAITHFUL. Maintaining a few intimate relationships is more important to you than knowing a lot of people, and you share a lot with your close friends. Those who have managed to get close to you value your camaraderie, and they know that they can trust you with anything; you're a good listener. While you can usually see several sides of an argument, you often have a strong opinion as to which side is correct—the order of things is usually clear to you. Your perspective on the world is based on careful observation, and you know a lot about how people feel in—and react to—many situations. Your exploration of others' feelings has led you to believe that although people generally act appropriately, having clear social rules is very important to a functional society. Time alone for reflection is important to you—you are introspective and aware of your own feelings. Faithful is as faithful does—you expect those with whom you are close to be loyal to you, and you take betrayal of your trust very seriously. You tend to do things on the spur of the moment, not sticking to a set schedule. You have a strong sense of style and value your personal presentation - friends may even seek your style advice from time to time. Generally, you believe that you control your life, and that external forces only play a limited role in determining what happens to you.
If you want to be different: Some of the alternate perspectives that you understand may have more value than you give them credit for—keep in mind that right and wrong aren't always so clear-cut. While you are able to reap the benefits of your time alone, and may see interacting with a lot of people as more tiring than exciting, remember that there is a lot to be learned from experiencing things and not just reflecting on them.
hey people I'M BACK AGAIN. finally (stayed for both nights in the end, when i planned to juz stay for the first night) this has been a really happenin' week! & i'm so drained
for the past 3 days (right after the sea sports camp) i had gone for the munchie monkey's biannual chalet! @ coasta sands, downtown east here's an account & i'm still waitin' to receive the zillions of photos!
DAY 1:: 12 MAY (FRI) after the mothers' day dinner with my family (hey, i drove!!!) i took a train to the other end of singapore arrived in the evenin' at the chalet!
played some board games with Liang Cai, Amanda & Sandy before joinin' Remy, Juraidi, Chieh Chien for dinner at tampines then.. it was ktv!!! it was my first time singin' at k-ster & found the service to be really good more people joined us - Kelvin, Huiying, Samuel, Wei Liang & their friend - Erwin the ktv ended at about 2am & we went in two batches (Remy & Sandy have cars!) back to the chalet
it was SO comfortable sleepin' on a PROPER bed! compared to the sleepin' area at the sea sports camp this was fantastic hoho i didn't find the air-con too cold too cos the air-con at the camp was even colder!
DAY 2:: 13 MAY (SAT) woke up to a lazy day of board games & quite a couple of dumb games wahaha
prepared for the bbq in the evenin' then i dropped by Lena's 21st birthday party at aranda country club which was quite nearby (pui.) met my spageddies colleagues there! =) (too many to name!) even my baobei, Vivi was a few rooms' away for her friend's birthday party too! hoho rushed back to munchie monkey's chalet after the cake was cut with Ben & Dixon
more people had arrived! woohoo. then it was quite an emotional moment for Remy as we presented him a gift & a huge card that we've all written on it biddin' farewell to him! =( lots of photo-takin' before we started playin' games again! as expected, the forfeit for the games was to DRINK (either vodka neat or vodka with sprite) we started with the indian poker game which was really hilarious then there was the 'passin'-a-rubber-band-with-a-short-straw-in-between-your-lips-to-the-next-person' game & it was purposely done such that it was a 'boy-girl-boy-girl' arrangement everytime the rubber band drops, the straw will be cut! x_X!! there wasn't so much drinkin' in this game but we were all so close to kissin' someone! gosh. the rest of the games involved quite a lot of drinkin' yikes.
we then all moved outside to a stone table & had a steamy, open talk about SEX & everythin' else related to it hahaha kidda interestin' hmmx.
it was about 4am+ when we decided to shower & head for the beds! Remy, Juraidi, Justin, Kelvin, Huiying, Alfian, Chieh Chien, Huiying, Amanda, Jiayu, Kossy & i were the people who stayed over for this second night! fwah.
so touched. Huiying gave me cookies that she baked herself + a postcard with a message for me Amanda gave me a really antique cannot-be-found-anywhere-else snoopy dictionary (!!!) + a snoopy badge + a snoopy mini toy car + a self-made card with snoopy stickers all over wow. i realise i love my munchies loads!
DAY 3:: 14 MAY (SUN) we had to check out of our room early in the mornin' then went for breakfast at the foodcourt this chalet has then come to an end & i can resume my normal life! hardly slept on MY bed this week!
Thursday, May 11, 2006 NUS SEA SPORTS CAMP 2006 it's ok to get wet in public!
I'M BACK. from the sea sports camp! did anyone miss me a whole lot? alright, quite a bit? come on, i believe a little at least?
this entry will depend on how much my pea-brain can remember out of these 3 days Vivi, please fill in any missin' details!
DAY 1:: 9 MAY (TUE) bad start! woke up at 915am when i had to reach east coast sea sports club aka the freakin' ulu place at 10am! pia-ed a cab down of cos, boo. there were SO MANY people!!! (i wondered how many people joined, there were about close to 100?) baobei Vivi had registered for me & got my goodie bag too, hoho
1030am: ice-breakers. first up! we gathered in our respective groups for ice-breakin' games Vivi & i were in group B with 28 other people we played wacko - the standard game that FORCES you to remember names it worked; i remembered MOST of their names i guess
11am: introduction & briefin'. the headin' says it all
1130am: lunch.
packet lunch boxes! well, i don't have much to complain about food
1230pm: WIND-SURFIN'. our group's first sea sport session what a start! omg. i can't believe i'm back at this place doin' THIS again, faintx. as per my proficiency level 1 course it was theory -> simulator -> practice on water & AS PER my course i was in the water half the time haha. hello, it is really physically-drainin' uphaulin' especially - it kills! had to keep swimmin' away from the rocks & stuff had quite a few knocks which resulted in blue-blacks too pengx
330pm: LIFEGUARD. after the shaggy wind-surfin' it was somethin' very much more relaxin' we were taught how to properly throw a rope to save a victim in the sea (there was a role-playin' of victim + rescuer) also swimmin' to a victim & savin' him usin' a buoyant aid (i drank gallons of sea water at this practice) & finally usin' a rescue boat to save the victim it was quite fun, except that paddlin' with the arms was really strenuous!
630pm: SHOWER. DINNER. GAMES. the rest of the evenin' was basically MORE games i felt like i was in an orientation camp!
me & Vivi wearin' the camp singlet!
when it was the free & easy time most of us prepared for lights-out (which was at 10pm) & settled comfortably in our cosy corners in the AIR-CON ROOM hello, air-con?! i HATE sleepin' with the air-con on! i would juz freeze sighx.
Vivi & i didn't wanna turn-in so early so we visited the beacon bar & grill for some drinks she was so high over her irish baileys can? haha. nice. chillin'-out.
beacon bar & grill
long-island iced tea + irish baileys!
& so we slept. & i froze. at least Vivi shared her sleepin' bag with me so it wasn't THAT bad but the floor was darn HARD. duh.
DAY 2:: 10 MAY (WED) automatically, i could get up at 530am, YAWNX. arms & back were already achin'
630am: BREAKFAST. what a great way to start my day - MILO!!! WEE!
our sports today wouldn't be conducted at the sea sports club so we had to keep travellin' in chartered buses! off we go!
on the bus!
8am: WAKE-BOARDIN'. @ MARINA COUNTRY CLUB, PUNGGOL.
WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!! this had to be the HIGHLIGHT-OF-THE-CAMP man!
us at the jetty!
i was on the same powerboat as Vivi, Pei Shan, Zhi Wei, Wee Perng
the powerboat! cool stuff!
& we were under the instructor - Vincent! he rocks really. this was my first time out in the sea ON A POWERBOAT! felt like i was in some tv drama, hoho! the speed, the wind, the waves! wootx. the boat was really pretty, very well-furnished! however, wake-boardin' isn't as easy as it looks! i tried SO MANY times to get to the standin'-up position my shorts was even PULLED-OFF cos i was dragged at a high speed for a distance in the water OMG. luckily no one noticed, wahaha. we first had a try on the board with footwear fixed on it, so our feet were fixed at those places but it proved to be really difficult for most of us then he gave us a really cool-lookin' orange surfboard to try next this time, there was no footwear fixed on it, so it looked more pro! hoho. by right, this should be even harder but all of us could RIDE THE WAVES for quite a while eventually! (except for the prodigy, Zhi Wei who practised on MRT trains a lot i bet, cos he could ride on forever) the feelin' was exhilarating! WOOTX. Vivi screamed non-stop like nobody's business when she managed to stand up hahaha, even the instructor couldn't stand it, muahaha. the instructor was so nice la he was really patient, never gave up on us & even blasted MUSIC on the boat! woohoo! there were wang li hong - kiss goodbye, jay chou - huo yuan jia & a few R&B hip-hop songs! ha! 50 cents - candy shop is the THEME SONG for this sport! haha! & he said this to me, "girl, as long as you don't give up on yourself, i won't give up on you." WOW. =)
we were still not over it!
130pm: SAILIN'. @ SAF YACHT CLUB, SEMBAWANG we had lunch here & proceeded to the next sport session this was very similar to wind-surfin' except that it was more relaxin' & we didn't have to stand, haha, lazy me. it was theory -> simulator -> out sailin'!
theory. zZz.
on the sailin' simulator
it was a LONG wait, cos there could only be 6 laser pico (a type of sail-craft) out in the sea at anytime when it was finally our turn there was NO WIND! boo. so we didn't get onto the sails since we would only be driftin' anyway the in-charge made it up for us by bringin' us out on a powerboat ride! again! woohoo.
the powerboat!
this time, the boat wasn't as glamorous as the one used for wake-boardin' but in any case, we had a taste of the speed & wind again & literally, sea water too! haha.
Zhi Wei, me, Vivi & the powerboat driver!
i'm enjoyin' the wind & the splash!
7pm: BBQ. back to base camp, shagged. there was a mass bbq session about 2 pits to a group there was so much food!
the bbq!
it was free & easy for the rest of the evenin' again so Vivi & i decided to jioZhi Wei & Wee Perng to our chill-out session at beacon bar & grill it so happened that it was Wee Perng's 23rd birthday! so we had a mini celebration for him, hoho then we had a great time talkin' cock! haha. we are all so lame lo!
the tiramisu birthday cake!
birthday boy, Wee Perng with the cake!
lights-out!
koonx!
DAY 3:: 11 MAY (THU) it was freakin' freezin' + my back hurt so bad in the mornin' that i really couldn't go on sleepin' i sat up at 5am & cuddled myself till 7am while listenin' to music heex.
after the NO-sambal-chilli-nasi-lemak-for-breakfast we headed for our next, which was also the last sea sport session for this camp!
8am: CANOEIN'. this was so far, the sport that Vivi & i were most-familiar with Vivi is a two-star paddler while i'm a one-star paddler ok! mai siao siao, hoho! we took a double-kayak there were 2 teams & we played a few games one was to switch seats with someone on another kayak! (imagine havin' to climb across a few kayaks, the other doin' the same thing, & i get into his seat while he gets into mine? all in the middle of the sea?) of cos everyone would be holdin' on to the kayaks REAL tightly so we could cross safely - teamwork! the next game was canoein' in a raft (about 3 or 4 kayaks together) also formin' some shapes as a team (this was really tough!) we actually had a mini expedition to bedok jetty but we were runnin' short of time & the waves were too choppy (my kayak was even pushed up violently onto the shore, capsized & i was pinned down by my kayak, ouch.)
12pm: BREAK CAMP. we had a game of captain's ball IN THE WATER it was so exhaustin'! drank another few gallons of salty water ewks.
showered. packed. de-briefed.
WE ARE SHAGGED. SUN-KISSED!
it was a great experience on the whole gettin' to try sports that i never thought i would every get my hands on makin' new friends & spendin' so much time with baobei, hoho.
on a sad note, water got into my handphone & it could not be revived *WAILS* sent it for repair most probably beyond hope =`(
Vivi treated me to seoul garden @ ngee ann city! heex. we had so much! i hadn't been to this place for a LONG time lo xie xie baobei!
