Had dinner with my mum & sis @ Snoopy Place (Plaza Singapura). My first visit, even though it has been around for FIVE years. Oh well, better late than never. This Peanuts-themed restaurant looks really fun... I felt strangely uplifted just by being there. There's Woodstock 'flying' all over the celling, comic prints on the tables, nice comfy seats...such a cheery place! The menu (layout) is rather cute, with nuggets of info about Peanuts & its characters.
We placed our orders -- Soup of the Day (Mushroom Soup), The "Great Pumpkin" Soup, Vege Potato Skins, Snoopy BBQ Chicken, Rib-eye Steak. Overall, I thought that the food was alright. Not particularly fantastic, but okay. The food's prepared in the 'open kitchen', so you can see the chefs preparing the food.
The mushroom soup was rather mild in flavour (I like my mushroom soup thick & creamy & full of taste!) & had a funny lumpy/ grainy texture. I liked my pumpkin soup... huge chunks of pumpkin! The soups came with garlic bread, which I quite liked. Then again, I lurrrve garlic bread! My 'main course' was a starter -- vege potato skins. The bits of tomato & onion were rather delightful, although I would have enjoyed it even more if the potato skins were more crisp & if there was bacon bits. Tried bits of the BBQ chicken & steak... I thought they were 'okay'.
Oh, but the service more or less made up for the food. Excellent, friendly service crew. Even though a recent Sunday Times article said that S'poreans don't give much priority to service, the wonderful service @ Snoopy Place definitely made our dining experience very enjoyable. I say, the highlight of the dinner was... Snoopy himself! Ok, so it was just a mascot... still, who can resist taking a photo with the ever-smiley Snoopy?

today all the old birds are havin' offday siahh..hoho..so we decided to have a meet-up..keke..
went to meet Mei Qing, Siew Wai, Gynn, Xianyin & Seok Chuan at ps..& we went to haf lunch at snoopy place..hoho..enjoyed the 1-for-1 promo AGAIN..loLx..Frederick came to join us after our meal..den we went kbox @ paradiz ctre to sing from 2pm-9pm..(my 2nd ktv session dis wk!!)..Kerin & Liping oso joined us for a short while..before leavin' wif Xianyin & Gynn at 5pm..Wei Wei reached at around 5pm too.. =) Mei Qing & Siew Wai den left shortly after the 4 gers left..leavin' onli mi, Frederick, Seok Chuan & Wei Wei in the BIG rm..haha..the usual 4 of us lo..
went swenson's @ ps for a late dinner..we ate alot siahh.. =P den took train home..

rainy mornin'..went partyworld to sing wif Jia Hui from 12pm-3pm..wah piangx..was freezin' in the air-con rm lo..omg..had 2 cups of hot milo..yum yum..discovered one REALLI nice song..fish leong - mei li ren sheng..heard it on radio once..but didn't noe wat's the title & whu sang it..thx to Jia Hui whu sang dis song in our ktv session..hoho..veri nice song!!! =)

yest durin' the family outin' den i noe my sis is workin' part-time at cafe les amis @ botanical gardens..$7/hr lo..wow..wkly pay summore!! it's one of the most high-class cafes ard i heard..fine-dining..wootx..

Huiyi came to my house..to get songs la..haha..forever one lei.. =x we den went lot1 to shop!! wahaha..i bought lot of things today lo..let mi list them..

-a white sweater from giordano..i finalli used dat $20 voucher..

-ai zhi yin yue lian qu (love's instrumental hits)..2 cds of chinese songs in instrumental music..hee..can play in snoopy place.. =)
-paper cd covers..usin' my times vouchers..hoho..
enjoyed a cup of ice blended mocha from coffeebean too..yum yum..spent over $60 today.. =x

well anyway..besides unhappie customers..i was almost losin' my patience wif Jerry..arghHhHh..one wkday nite..u onli haf 4 staff..yet he still didn't wanna help unless realli necessary..it's not busy at all of cos..but i juz dun like it when the rest of us gotta keep runnin' ard..doin' dis & dat..while he stands ard..idling..wun u get pek cek??? i tolerated..i didn't say anythin'..juz did wat i was supposed to do..den i was told to teach Xue Er how to close the fountain..so i went to tell her roughly wat to do..den Jerry told mi to watch the one table dat hasn't placed order yet..WAT THE HELL??? he wanted mi to teach her..den still wanted mi to watch the floor?? den wat is he doin'?? y can't he juz help to watch dat table? juz take their orders? i lost my patience..kidda shouted at him.. =xX haix..juz wanna tell him how i felt..he tried to explain..as usual..it's those lame excuses..so i refused to listen..& said.."ok ok fine watever..i juz wanna work.." den juz walked away..after a while..after i've cooled down..i went to apologise to Jerry..apologised for bein' rude.. =( sorry..bad mood la..esp when i met so mani nasty customers..*steam*..
