4th week of school..
8am - computer aided data analysis lecture..still on graphical methods..zZz..tryin' so hard to stay awake..
10am - linear algebra II tutorial..always feel more awake durin' tutorials..not possible to sleep mahx..haha..understood most of the things..heex..
11am - went to the cblc..haha..even played the zui dong ting MV again..hoho..it juz touches me.. =`)
12pm - probability lecture..on poisson, geometric, negative binomial distributions..BORIN'!!!
130pm - back to cblc..haix..gotta wait till it's time to go work..feel like juz goin' home lo..actually school ain't that bad after all..kidda used to goin' everywhere alone..attendin' classes alone..at least it keeps me occupied bah..
(i still miss..my snoopy + ktv life durin' 2003 though..)
sianx..the school's network tv cannot make it again..could only listen to wan quan yu le..no video image..haix..
2nd day of work..saw Shah & Halik..but they knocked off liaox..was workin' with Sam & Thomas at night..very very slack still..but much more enjoyable than the first day..heex..even had to go into the ktv rooms to ask for drinks..then looked at what they were singin'..keke..saw the big boss today too..mr.lim..then also saw some people from the other branch..amy..who's the supervisor there..friendly lady..
we have to wash the dishes + cutleries ourselves one lo..then also learnt how to prepare some food..at least we could sit when there was nobody..then could watch people playin' pool & darts..hoho..had quite a long chat with one of the admin office lady too..
sianx ah..there're always no seats when i take bus home one lo..

Sam called me & asked me down to work..
so i had my first day of work at greenbrew..at the singtel recreation club (comcentre, somerset)..very very few customers lo..& the food they sell juz needs to be heated up only..i only served drinks..cleared tables..then also went to cold storage @ centrept to buy coffee powder.. -________-||| hoho..love the ktv rooms..whenever there're people inside..i would have music to listen to..heehee..oh ya..the uniform is a black polo t-shirt + jeans + black shoes..keke.. =) worked with Sam, Thomas (bartender), Mimah (supervisor) & Nash (18yr old part-timer) today..all quite friendly lo..

8am - computer aided data analysis lecture..continued with robust stats..then moved on to graphical methods..never fell asleep surprisingly..keke..but borin' lecture la..
10am - went to the cblc..wanted to view the geog webcast lecture..but couldn't connect to it at all lo..sianx..means i must find time at home to watch it liaox..took a nap in the cblc.. =xX chao sleepy..zZz..
12pm - probability lecture..don't really like the way the lecturer teaches..he always uses BIG chim words..then goin'into very abstract stuff..*blur* ah..it was on expectation..moment generatin' function..binomial & bernoulli functions..
130pm - went to the cblc again..finally can connect to the geog webcast lecture liaox..there was a 20-min video on globalisation lo..kept dozin' off while watchin'.. =xX then stopped the webcast lecture to watch wan quan yu le..hoho..immediately became wide awake siahh..oops..

9am - met Pei Feng..who was with Huimin (my 1st yr sem1 english classmate)..we were a little late for the probability tutorial lo..totally BLUR throughout the lesson siahh..suddenly probability so difficult lo..

3rd week of school..start of tutorial classes liaox..
found a sammi cheng song..which is the canto version of karen white - superman..nice siahh..
8am - computer aided data analysis lecture..abt robust stats..omg..kept dozin' off..zZz..
10am - linear algebra II tutorial..made a new friend..wahaha..Jessica..such a small world siahh..she lives VERY NEAR me!!! one block away only..but she was from swiss cottage sec & jurong jc..hmmx..why have i never seen her ard ahx..
as for the tutor..not bad la..didn't feel tensed in his class..
11am - went to cblc durin' this one hr break..my hangout mahx..keke..
12pm - saw Pei Feng & we went for the probability lecture tog..we chatted throughout the lecture lo..oops.. =xX
after lecture..we wanted to go to the nike mega sale at mpsh2..so we walked there..but when we reached..we were told that it was cancelled..kns lo..so we walked back to the bus-stop to take bus home..
watched wan quan yu le..it has a new openin' animation now siahh..so cartoon..haha..wow..the magician was so pro!! he made a wooden table float ard lo!! omg..actually i've seen him before on a show last time..pro pro..
almost died of hunger..didn't eat for 12hrs ever since breakfast..-dead-
watched the army experience..then true courage..the story abt takalah tan kok liang..he had everythin' goin' for him..he was a commando in army..then was a graduate..also a triathlete..but he met with a TRAGIC accident which left him with serious brain damage..disfigured face..broken nose..fractured leg..broken ribs..loss of sight for his left eye..& had only 1% chance of survival..he went through 7 operations to tide-over..but he lost his 24yrs of memories still..his father passed away soon after..with all these physical & emotional trauma..(he even thought of committing suicide)..he strived on..he worked for his brother..then went to NIE to go into teaching..then finally took up courses on brain-injury rehabilitation..& is now helping other brain-injured patients to recover..juz like what he had gone through..wow..inspirin' fightin' spirit..

went for my 10th blood donation with Seok Chuan..it was her first time..hoho..was so afraid i couldn't donate cos durin' the blood test..the nurse told me my drop of blood didn't sink!! (which means i might not have enough iron) but after a second test..i passed.. =) pheww..waited for a long time for a nurse to attend to me lo..think they're rather short on manpower today..
Seok Chuan & i then went for our refreshments after our donations..& then went to the building beside the train station to have laksa..wahaha..yumx..but didn't have egg + tou pok..so sad..
took train home after that..
watched the olympics table-tennis semi-finals match between zhang yining (china) vs kim hyung ah (s.korea)..zhang yi ning won the match..she'll be into the finals..
next match..li jia wei (sg) vs kim hyang mi (n.korea)..can't believe it..jia wei lost..in the final decidin' game.. =( jia wei was doin' so well lo!!! at a point..she was leadin' 3 sets to 1 set..then she even won 11-0 in the third set lei!! but things made a change..sobx..hopefully she can fight for a bronze now!! 10am - was supposed to go over to arts fac for the geog lecture..but find that it's really troublesome..& anyway it has live webcast..so might as well juz watch it from the comfort of the cblc..or even at home later..heehee..cos i still gotta come back to sci after that lecture lo..ma fan..

no lectures today..so went for a jog after i've woken up..
watched wan quan yu le..saw the news abt s.h.e doin' physical exercises in preparation for their upcomin' concert..haha..so funny lo..
yeah..completed the linear algebra II tutorial..my first completed assignment this sem..haha..very much more to come.. =|
watched sg idol..it's down to 30 liaox..wah..the judges very strict lo..don't like ken lim..
den watched zhen xin mi yu..aiyo..all their relationships gettin' worse siahh..
waited for the olympics table-tennis matches..first was zhang xue ling (sg) vs kim hyang mi (korea)..sobx..sg lost..but zhang xue ling put in tremendous effort liaox..gd job.. =)
next would be li jia wei (sg) vs wang nan (china)..OH YESH!!! li jia wei won the game!! she's into the semi-finals now..will be against kim hyang mi next..the one who beat zhang xue ling lo..hmmx..our ONLY hope liaox.. =) hope she goes all the way..

10am - linear algebra II lecture..it was on vector spaces still..all the 10 axioms..its subspaces too..oso received the tutorial work..oh no..tutorials will start next week..gotta do them soon..

8am - computer aided data analysis lecture..yawnx..that lecturer is gettin' borin' ah..touched on the intro to R (another stats software) liaox..he said it's easier..but i don't think so..
went to the cblc after that..den met Huiyi..since both of us had 2hrs break..we sat at a table & chatted for that 2hrs..haha.. =xX

wahaha..goin' to watch hins cheung 'LIVE' today!! heehee..
took bus to town..the event was held at cineleisure level 8..at k-union..i went in to take a seat in a room..very colourful..nicely decorated..den we were asked to go out for a while..cos they wanna do abit of rehearsal..so waited outside..den ard 1pm..we could go in again..
yu fei men started first..dun really know them lo..electronic music..
after they've performed le yuan & gai bian..it's hins cheung's turn!!! =) he wore a pink top wif jeans..keke..very thin lo..but very CUTE!! he sang his new canto song..gu dan gong yuan..den sat very close to us & sang duan dian..& lastly..my way!!! wahaha..so happy..

ahh..today is gonna be the most siong day..8am-2pm..6hrs of lectures NON-STOP..
saw Wee Lee on the bus again..kept seein' her siahh..
8am - my first lecture for the day..computer aided data analysis..it really pays to read up first lo..hoho..cos i knew what the lecturer was talkin' abt throughout..heehee..started touchin' on the basics of SAS..
10am - rushed over to arts fac..for the first place, environment, society lecture..it's juz a geography module in short..saw Xiao Ting (btband junior..trombonist) there siahh..saw Xiao Ling (njc classmate) too..so zhun..haha..no need to worry abt findin' a partner for the project liaox..this lecturer is VERY funny lo..so didn't doze off at all..wahaha..another lecturer who will be takin' over durin' the second half of the sem has a very nice accent..the lectures for this module will be webcasted..means i can skip them & juz watch at home..haha..& the tutorials are not assessible..which means i can skip as well..i'll see how la..keke..realised ALL lecturers for this sem are GUYS..
12pm - finally..my last lecture for the day..probability..rushed back to sci fac..piangx..the internal bus was so full lo..i was standin' right AT the front door siahh..aiyo..today's lecture was quite chim..we calculated the probability of at least 2 people havin' the same birthday..haha..it's more than half if there are 23 & above people..
2pm - went to the cblc..managed to find a comp with headphones..BUT..dunno y..the network tv shows no video image!! now i only get the sound..haix..need to watch wan quan yu le la..cos jay chou is on the show today..

love the song jay chou - zhi zhan zhi shang alot suddenly..very nice melody..
there was a NUSSU welfare bazaar at the sci foyer today..queued up for the FREE NUSSU diary..wahaha..ALOT of ppl queuein' up for it siahh..cos it's free lo..& rather useful for me.. =)
rushed for my first lecture..linear algebra II..seemed like it's gonna be a VERY VERY tough course..haix..but luckily the lecturer was goin' very slowly + clearly..talked abt vector spaces..euclidean n-space & its subspaces..kidda a revision of linear algebra I..
went to the cblc after lecture..
met Annie for lunch..haha..she's now a freshie in computin'..had cabonara..but the standard dropped liaox lei..super dry & sticky lo..eeks..
we den went to the comp lab at computin' fac..wah piangx..so many comps lo..but no one is usin'!! unlike in sci fac..still gotta queue up for a comp lo..
took a bus over to arts fac for my next lecture..singapore society..omg..it's so similar to sociology lo..talkin' abt makin' sense of society..the sociological imagination..such familiar topics lo..ALOT of readings as usual..bought the super thick readin' pack after lecture..haix..hate arts modules ah..saw kelvin low (my sociology tutor last sem) there!! he'll be conductin' some of the tutorials for this module too..dunno if it's gd or not to get him again lei..
had a gd sleep on the journey home..keke..
yeah..dl-ed 5566,cyndi wang,7f,k-one,r&b - yin wei ai MV!!! =) very heart-warmin' song..too bad can't find the mp3..can only find the video..heehee..this was one of the songs they sang at the concert by the bay..
wahaha..had char kway teow for dinner..YUMX!!
dunno y..everytime i hear stella ng - wen yu on radio..it would lift my spirits UP alot..heehee..
watched sg idol..lolx..so funnie!! den watched the last half hr of zhen xin mi yu (room in my heart)..
yippee!! watched concert by the bay..the one that i went to watch 'live' at marina..hoho..the show started with cyndi wang lei..but actually she was the 2nd last to make her appearance..den they oso cut away the part in which she came in wrongly for dang ni..haha..so much for cuttin' & editin' siahh..

lolx..
6am!! piangx..that's early..YAWNX..now im a 2nd yr student liaox..hopefully will study harder this sem..since im no longer workin'..haix..
after almost 4 months of not goin' to NUS..i still rem the route to school..hoho..
met Sharon in the sci canteen..to pass her the microbiology textbk + notes..cos she'll be takin' this sem..(while i've taken last sem liaox)..
had my first lecture for this sem at 8am..computer aided data analysis..saw Chuyun & Elizabeth too..expected la..they oso stats major mahx..
will be learnin' some stats softwares like SAS & R (wat the hell?)..haix..dun tell me it's another programmin' course..eeeeks..
went to the cblc after that..went to the co-op to buy 2 textbks..a handbk of statistical analyses using SAS & statistical computing - an intro to data analysis using S-Plus..super heavy siahh..den went to the sci lib to look for Sharon..& put my bks there..while i went for the next lecture..
next lecture was probability..saw alot of familiar faces..omg..first lecture only & the lecturer already started on the syllabus itself liaox..but most of the stuff i know liaox..like sets, multiplication rule, permutations & combinations..but forgotton quite abit too.. =xX
lecture ended early..at 130pm..den went to get my bks back..& went to meet Huiyi..we den went to the co-op (again)..cos i need to buy a third textbk..a first course in probabilty..piangx..spent over $150 on bks today siahh..summore they're so damn heavy..luckily got seats on the bus home..phew..

happie birthday singapore!
finally..today would be the LAST day of the mega sales..which means the LAST day of work! =)
overslept on the bus..so had to walk a distance to another bus-stop to take the bus..piangx..waited for Surin & Gynn..den we reported to work tog..very very tired siahh..den couldn't even tok..no voice lo..
& today was Xianyin's turn to drop by..to give Gynn her birthday present..hoho..
Gynn & i managed to clear everythin' by 630pm..WHEW!! finally it's the end ah..even my back was achin' too..
walked ard the tangs mega sales with Surin & Gynn..den we went home..
watched abit of the sg idol while i was on bus36..which had tv mobile..den after i changed bus..i listened to it through 89.3fm..hoho..but slept throughout the journey though..
ahhh..today is the last day of my long holidays too.. =( school will start tml..SIANX..packed my stuff for the new semester..

ahhh..sleepy ahx..
4th day of work..
was the second to reach..(could never beat Frances)..time seemed to pass rather quickly today..maybe cos i always had somethin' to do..which was to fold the serviettes nicely tog wif the cutleries..heehee..
today was Ethel's turn to drop by..hoho..
Gynn & i were even asked to distribute flyers for a while..wahh..suddenly miss this job alot siahh..distribute until very shuang!! =)
had nasi lemak (AGAIN!!) for lunch..den laksa (again too??) for dinner..
piangx..shouted "NASI LEMAK! BEEHOON! CHICKEN CHOP RICE!" until i was losin' my voice lo..
finished sellin' everythin' rather early..almost $1000 sales for our stall..best day so far..
wahaha..went to watch the sg fireworks festival concert at marina wif Surin & Gynn!!! SUPER ALOT of ppl at that area (suntec city, esplanade, marina) lo..especially when we got nearer to where the concert was held..reached there juz in time to HEAR the beginnin'..r&b was the first to perform..den toro (chao shuai!!)..yan xing shu..k-one..tai ji..cyndi wang..& the most anticipated 5566!!! we managed to squeeze through the crowd & got much nearer to the stage..could see liaox lo..summore there were 2 huge screens beside the stage..VERY HIGH siahh..especially when 5566 made their appearance..wow wow..shouted until i really lost my voice liaox.. -_______-||| die..
was especially HIGH when toro sang bao feng yu..toro & yan xing shu sang dui shou..k-one sang bei ying..cyndi sang dang ni..& 5566 sang ai qing man you..den oso heard the theme song for ren wo ao you..sang by toro & yan xing shu..
oh..yan xing shu performed basketball stunts too!! chao pro + cool siahh..
left juz before the last song finished..so we wouldn't haf to squeeze with the crowd..decided to take cab home tog with Gynn..much faster la..damn tired liaox..

3rd day of work..
signed-up as a member of multiply liaox..somethin' similar to friendster & who lives near you..but alot more things to do there..seems more fun too..

Surin didn't work today..so Gynn's friend..Regina worked for juz one day..wah piangx..really stood until my legs were breakin' lo..very very sleepy too..spirits were greatly lifted when there was chinese music!!! =) there were jay chou - qing tian, fish leong - yong qi, lin jun jie - chi bang, daniel chan - liu xing sen lin yu, candy lo - ma zui, s.h.e - superstar, melody - ai duo shao zao zhi dao..woohoo..den the DJs from 95.8fm oso came..aiyo..they tok alot siahh..noisy..
had nasi lemak for both lunch & dinner..nice..

Gynn & i managed to finish sellin' everythin' again..den we went to tangs mega sales to walk ard..
took bus to park mall wif Regina..but she alighted earlier..yeah..finally found a bus to park mall (that's where i can change to bus190) liaox.. =)

second day of work..
found a really good route to suntec liaox!! wahaha..so happie..i juz gotta change to either bus 106,77 or 171 at ps..den can reach its entrance.. =) fast siahh..
met Gynn den we reported to work tog..tot sales would be better today..but nahx..was ABIT better only..but Gynn & i finished sellin' everythin' in our stall at the end of the day lo..we even went to take a walk ard the exhibition hall..& oso the tangs mega sales beside our hall..hoho..
been eatin' laksa for 2 consecutive days liaox.. =xX
knocked off a little earlier than yest..cos there was no de-brief..
[haha..the followin'..was the BEST part of the day.. =) ]
Gynn & i left tog..den i saw Mei Qing, Siew Wai, Ethel, Liping, Kerin, Xianyin, Frederick & Tow Liang at level 1.. =`) i kidda expected some will turn up..to give me a surprise..BUT I REALLY NEVER EXPECT THERE TO BE SO MANY OF THEM..sobx..-touched-..they den brought me to the seats at the top level of the fountain of wealth..Shiqi came too.. =) thanks for comin' & oso the gift too!! while playin' the chop chilli chop game wif them (hahaha)..Wei Wei & Seok Chuan appeared..wahaha..wif a really NICE cake..dun even bear to cut..(but kana abit on my ears + face + hair..thanks to someone)..it's a chocolate cake (yumx!!)..wif a snoopy huggin' woodstock.. =`( here's how it looks like::

had less than 3hrs of zZz..
today would be my first day of work at suntec..
gotta walk a super long way to suntec city siahh..(cos i took bus)..haix..muz find a better route seriously..met Gynn den we went up to convention hall 401 tog..Frances den came..(she's kidda our in-charge..very friendly..very nice lady)..there were 4 others too..Julia & Surin (both from SMU)..& Zheng Hui & an auntie..Frances den briefed us..issued us an over-sized maroon polo t-shirt..haha..den we were arranged into our respective stalls..Gynn & i were in-charge of sellin' nasi lemak (the best-sellin')..fried rice..beehoon..soon kuey & blackcurrant drink..
very easy job lo..but gotta stand the whole day la..sales was super bad..except durin' the last half hr..when we reduced all our prices..den so many ppl crowdin' around our tiny stalls siahh..
after the de-brief..walked a SUPER LONG way to my bus-stop..was already feelin' super cannot make it siahh..really muz find a better route..haix..
haha..still rem..exactly one yr ago..at midnite..i was at partyworld..& today at midnite..i was in the toilet (bathin')..wahaha.. -________-|||
tend to miss snoopy alot alot..maybe dat's the reason why i dun really haf a "birthday" feelin' in me..somethin' is juz lost..no longer the same liaox..

finally..today is the last day of round 2A..has been a LONG & draggy round ever since last sat siahh..watchin' the bids grow daily lo.. -________-||| pls..let me get my last 2 modules in this round..

wahh..freakin' COLD in the mornin' ah!!
went to meet Seok Chuan & Wei Wei to work-out @ amk..wahaha..Seok Chuan & i jogged 3 rounds in the park first..(the other pig didn't haf shoes.. =X) wahh..stamina droppin' siahh..summore had cramps after joggin'..gotta walk all the way to mac to use their toilet..luckily was feelin' oki after dat liaox.. =) we den HUNTED for bball courts..those idiotic half-naked guys lo..all playin' soccer on bball courts!!! humphx..but anyway we managed to find one near Siew Wai's house..which was the one which i played wif her the other time..maybe too ulu liaox..dats y no one was playin' there..muahahaha.. =xX
Siew Wai came down & joined the 3 of us in our game of ABC..keke..Seok Chuan den went home..cos she's got skool work to do..Siew Wai left shortly too..but she came back again..cos she had no keys to go home..lolx..den in the end she gotta wait for her sis who was on her way home liaox..haha..
Wei Wei & i den played ABC in the rain lo..siao cha bo siahh..hahaha..we were totally drenched..but quite fun la..keke..den walked in the drizzle to the mrt station..whew..
we bought mee siam (for her)..& laksa (for mi)..& sat outside cheers to eat..like so ke lian lo..hoho..

took train home after dat..
wah piangx..y is round 2A so long..i see the competition for both my last modules oso scared ahh..esp german..damn fierce..decided to drop it liaox..haha..not again rite..aiya..it's like dat one la..every sem oso change until siao..replaced it wif GEK1001 - Place, Environment and Society..it's a GEM from group B la..might as well..it's a geography subject lo..sighh..dun realli like geog..but wat to do..
