A Grey Bear with a Blue Nose?
The Tatty Teddy Story
The oldest, smallest house you can imagine was about to be knocked down.
All the things that once made the house nice and cosy had been thrown outside and piled up in the front garden, from the soft springy bed the owners slept in, to the old wooden floorboards they used to walk on...
...and even,
surely by some mistake...
...a little brown teddy bear.
He was trapped amongst all the other unwanted things, and couldn't move.
Then, one day...a very, very cold day, something fell from the sky...
...a little snowflake.
It landed on the teddy bear's little nose and was then followed by many more.
He began to get cold, very cold indeed.
More and more snow fell, heavier and heavier.
The little bear was now so cold that his nose started turning blue...
...so cold that his brown fur started turning grey.
He was cold, unloved and all alone in the world, and felt very, very sad.
Winter finally passed and the weather got warmer, and, one beautiful spring day, a little girl was playing near the old house, when she spotted the grey bear in the pile of unwanted things.
He was like no other bear she had ever seen,
and she pulled him out from where he was trapped.
She dusted him down and lifted him high in the sky to look at him.
"A grey teddy bear...with a blue nose?"
she thought.
"How strange!"
The teddy bear wanted to cry. He thought she didn't like him and would throw him back with the other unwanted things.
"But he's lovely!" she continued and she fell completely in love with him.
She ran home as fast...

She looked on as her Grandma replaced his stuffing and patched up his holes.
His stitches had started showing where the fur had worn away, but the little girl thought he looked perfect.
It was all cosy and warm in the little girl's house and the bear now felt cosy and warm in his heart. However, his nose was still blue and his fur was still grey, and they would never return to brown. He was unique amongst teddy bears.
The little girl gave him a great big hug. She loved him more than anything else in the world...her little, grey, blue-nosed...

took bus home...

went Bugis to meet Sharon...went to the temple...den walked to Raffles City...den Citylink...
had an earli dinner at Nooch the noodle bar...i had chicken ramen + mocha nooch...can ppl-watch while eatin' man...keke...
den walked to Suntec City...Orchard rd...walked ard PS...watched the Street Festival outside Heerens...got ard 4 to 5 ppl came on the stage to sing!!!! sOoOo niceeee!!! =)
some of the songs are...ni zen me she de wo nan guo, Piano, ren cuo, gai bu gai, lian ai pin lu...all of them are veri gd singers lo!!! wootz!!! =)
walked ard taka...den took bus home...
dl-ed quite a few lin jun jie's songs...after hearin' them at HMV todae...veri veri nice!!!
i love tatty teddy!!! so sad..lonely..lovable..special..hmmm...there's even a story behind why is it a grey bear with a blue nose...~

we had a small celebration at T75..sang bdae song...ate the cake...i helped to mop the floor & vacuumed the carpets too...
took train home wif Vivian, Seok Chuan & Frederick...

woke up at noon...yawnz...~
had roti prata for breakfast...listened to yes933 top20 chart...F4 - ai de ling yu is the top song again...yawnz...such a sianz song... =/

realise i sing more than i tok to my parents lei..includin' my sis too....cos' i havent seen her for...like erm...2 whole daes???
helped Jerry to inform all the staff of their schedule nxt wk...sms until fingers nua liaoz lo...hoho...but i enjoy sms-ing la..so nvm...keke..~ =Þ
poor sis...she has worked SOOOO damn hard for Soup Spoon but durin' their ceremony on their 1st yr anniversary celebration todae...no token of appreciation was given to her...all given to others but not to her...i mean...i can say she's definitely the MOST hardworkin' & dedicated staff there lo...yet...there's not even a single BIT of appreciation...hmm...
but sometimes...u'll juz haf to work & work & work...& never tink abt gettin' anythin' from anyone...at least dat makes me a happier person workin'!!! =)
