so i told her

initially i thought she wanted to go to NUS
but after some logical thinkin'
i guess she must be talkin' about NUH

then after half the journey
i sat down at the seat behind her & her sister to ask

(which part of 'guo da' you both goin'? the hospital or the school?)
then she told me it's the hospital
yeah so i was right

& walked across a bridge to get to NUH

this whole week has been so NO LIFE
went to school for 5 days
workin' 7 days this week

today was the last day

people still came in

since there was little space
i had to u-turn so many times
wind thru' other paths
squeeze between tables
to get to THAT table

it's not that i woke up late again
my ez-link card was faulty!
the sensor could not detect my card
after tryin' a few times
i juz gave up & walked to a seat
but before gettin' there
the bus driver called out at me
for me to get back
then i tried again for him to see
he gave that stupid impatient look
& kept repeatin'
"that means your card is faulty la!"

then i asked
"so does it mean i can't board the bus?"
then he said in a damn attitude-tone
"you pay cash lo.."

didn't feel like gettin' up
there was a weddin' reception @ singtel rec club this afternoon
the marriage of micky & cynthia
micky holds a very high rank in commando i guess
a commando major?
(cos he was in that smart uniform)
Frederick came to help out
it was a damn tirin' function
cos they used porcelain wares
& not disposable ones
clearin' was terrible
everyone finished eatin' almost together

& she cut her hair short
good to see her again
took a train to cityhall
collected my new pair of specs

i can sleep like a log on buses

i can stay awake till 3am at least

it's a brand NEW YEAR!!
happy new yr to all my readers!
wishin' everyone a great yr ahead
my parents no longer ask
where am i goin'
when i told them i'm goin' out
they only asked if i'd be comin' home for dinner
so they could prepare my share
hmmx
what a meaningful start to the yr
joined Pei Feng & her friend, Mei Juan in volunteer work
=)
took a cab from redhill to the indonesian embassy
but realised it was closed
so we went to SPH @ toa payoh instead
made a $50 donation there
then helped to carry those bags & bags of clothes to the front of sg post office
where they were havin' a collection
there were SOOOOOO MANY bags!!!
then the super long post office truck came
& we helped in the loadin'
2 massive trucks were needed before everythin' was cleared
wootx~
went over to the RC
(where they had collected tons of clothes too)
to load onto the truck as well
the policemen who were helpin' too
were very friendly

went to a mac nearby
to have dinner
before headin' home
that's Pei Feng & me @ toa payoh station
though physically tired
it's been really meaningful
=)
